South Beach Condos and Lofts in Toronto by Amexon Development Corporation was honoured with two major awards at the International Property Awards – Americas Region gala recently held in London, England. The residential development was awarded “Best High-Rise Architecture” and “Best Mixed-Use Architecture” for Canada.
South Beach Condos and Lofts is a mixed use project that embodies the architecture, colours and vibe of South Beach in Miami. The development combines two 27 storey residential towers, an amenity area totaling approximately 40,000 square feet and a 16,000-sq.-ft. retail gateway embodying the Art Deco design of South Beach. The two art deco inspired towers each incorporate solar powered LED lit “crowns” and iconic slivers that run from ground to the top.
This isn’t South Beach Condos’ only accolades: the project also received the 2009 ‘Most Outstanding High Rise Building’ award from the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA).
