With over $5 million in sales on the opening weekend, Bellstar and the Osoyoos Indian Band successfully launched their third phase of development at the Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa located in Osoyoos, BC. “The Residences at Spirit Ridge marks the most successful real estate launch in the region in the past three years,” declared Curt Jansen, Director of Resort Real Estate for Bellstar in the Okanagan. “Much has been made about the downturn in the market for recreational property, but Bellstar’s sales in 2011 prove that there is still significant demand for quality recreational and retirement properties in the South Okanagan region.”
The Residences at Spirit Ridge is the first development at the resort designed specifically for year-round residential living. Sales officially launched to the public on September 17th for Phase 1, the first of four planned phases in the new development. Construction is scheduled to start in early 2012 with initial possessions taking place in the late summer to early fall of 2012.
