Congratulations to York University for placing first in MIT’s 2012 THE CASE Real Estate Case Competition
A team of Schulich MBA students in the Real Property & Infrastructure program won the prestigious MIT International Commercial Real Estate Case Competition in Boston in April. This completed an incredible hat-trick for Schulich, who also won the Developers’ Den II case competition and the Argus International University Challenge this spring. The MIT Center for Real Estate Alumni Association announced York University as the winner of the 2012 THE CASE, MIT’s annual graduate real estate case competition hosted by the Alumni Association.
The Schulich team, consisting of Philip Baron, Wes Myles, Maxwell Vo and Luke Chisholm, placed first with Columbia University taking second and Dartmouth College third in this year’s competition. 29 graduate school teams from around the world analyzed and underwrote a mixed-use development proposal for a portion of a prominent 16-acre parcel known as Seawall Lot 337 (SWL 337) along Pier 48 located in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood.
