Enermodal expands into Maritimes with Halifax office
Enermodal Engineering has launched its seventh Canadian location with an office in Atlantic Canada. Enermodal Halifax recently opened its doors for business, offering the full range of Enermodal sustainability services for new and existing buildings including: LEED Consulting; Energy Modelling; Building Performance Monitoring; Greening Existing Buildings; (Re)Commissioning; Carbon Reporting and Reductions.
“Working in Nova Scotia for the past 10 years, I’ve noticed an increasing interest in LEED for new and existing buildings,” says Enermodal’s Aaron Caldwell, manager, Atlantic Canada. “I’m excited to apply Enermodal’s unique combination of LEED, Energy, and Commissioning services to creating more energy efficient and sustainable buildings in Eastern Canada.”
Working in conjunction with Enermodal’s Kitchener headquarters, Enermodal Halifax already has several local projects on the go, including the much-anticipated Nova Scotia Power Head Office (LEED Platinum candidate) and Central Nova Scotia Regional Civic Centre (LEED Silver candidate). Past Enermodal Maritime projects include the LEED Silver certified CFB Gagetown Training Quarters and Upper River Valley Hospital in New Brunswick, first full-service LEED certified hospital in Canada.
