IDI Chicago adds first tenant in Canada
IDI, a full-service industrial real estate company, welcomed its first tenant in a Canadian facility recently when Ancra International, Ltd. moved into its Commerce Way Business Park in Woodstock, Ontario. IDI’s Chicago market office signed the lease with Ancra for 26,004 square feet, almost doubling the company’s current operational space.
Ancra occupies a portion of Woodstock Building A and is not only the first tenant in that building, but also IDI’s first-ever tenancy in a Canadian business park. The company supplies cargo restraint systems for airlines, trucking and military use and will use the space for product distribution.
IDI’s Commerce Way Business Park features two existing industrial facilities totaling 457,482 square feet. The business park, which was developed in 2007, is located between the Waterloo region and London at the confluence of Highway 401 and Highway 403.
