Jones Lang LaSalle expands into Calgary
Jones Lang LaSalle, a global financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate, has opened a new office in Calgary and hired industry veteran Andrew MacLachlan to develop its business in the region. Coming from UGL Equis, MacLachlan will join the firm as Executive Vice President and will provide advisory and transaction services to Jones Lang LaSalle’s clients in Alberta. The new Calgary office follows the Jones Lang LaSalle expansion into Vancouver in January this year, and now includes operations in Mississauga, Montreal, Ottawa and its headquarters in Toronto.
“Calgary is a buoyant commercial real estate market and is essential for Jones Lang LaSalle,” said Jim Becker, president of Jones Lang LaSalle in Canada. “It was important to appoint an experienced and well-known professional. Andrew is exactly the right person to grow and develop our business as well provide the best advice and services to our clients in the region.” Jones Lang LaSalle manages 31 million square feet of facilities across Canada.
