Dotted by boutiques, craft breweries, eclectic restaurants, and a large urban centre, the Graziani + Corazza Architects designed condo complements its historic industrial surroundings.

The interior design, by U31, mirrors the exterior with a variety of earthy materials and textures in industrial-inspired colours. The high-ceilinged lobby features brick, wood, upholstery and leather, while the custom designed kitchen and baths are equipped with black matte faucets.

The ground-level patio includes a prep kitchen and barbecue station, where wood elements mix with concrete and stone surfaces, and furniture overlooks the courtyard.

Amenities extend to a fully equipped fitness and yoga studio, kids playroom, and a party room featuring a floor-to-ceiling, double-sided black metal fireplace.

“The Stockyard District is a thriving and complete community – from great shopping, local parks and schools, easy access to public transit, and highways, you can work and play all within a short walk from your new home. Marlin Spring recognized these attributes when we purchased this site and embarked on a mission to develop a building that was deserving of this community. We knew then, and certainly know now, that was the right move,” said Pedro Lopes, Marlin Spring VP Land Development & Acquisitions.

Purchasers can select from one to three-bedroom + den layouts of 9-foot smooth ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glazing/window systems, and energy-efficient kitchen appliances.

The Stockyards District is one of more than a dozen projects where Marlin Spring and Greybrook have partnered. Among these are low-rise and high-rise developments in Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City and Houston, Texas.

“One of more than a dozen projects across Canada and the U.S. where Greybrook and Marlin Spring have successfully partnered, The Stockyards District Residences is a great collaborative effort between the two companies. Our aligned vision, shared respect, and strong execution capabilities have been an asset in our continued partnership,” said Sasha Cucuz, CEO, Greybrook Securities Inc.

The 10 storey Residences will include 236 suites priced from the $400,000s. First occupancies are slated for November 2021.
