The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Compensation Committee promoted AHRI President Stephen R. Yurek to the position of Chief Executive Officer. His new title, effective January 1, 2010, will be President and CEO. Yurek joined ARI in 2002 as vice president of Policy and Public Affairs and General Counsel. He was promoted in 2006 to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, and was promoted to president in 2007.
