Trump Tower in Toronto named North America’s tallest new building
Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto has been named the tallest new building in North America and one of the tallest in the world in a study by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) entitled 2012: A Tall Building Review. It identified the tallest buildings completed in the past year, and recognized Canada’s first Trump-branded property, which stands 277 m (908 ft) tall, as the 15th tallest in the world. It is the only building in North America to make the Tallest 20 in 2012 list.
“We are very excited to be recognized by the CTBUH and our industry peers in architecture, engineering, development and construction,” says Val Levitan, president and CEO of Talon International Development Inc., developer of Trump Toronto.
